Arsenal interested in Denis Zakaria

Denis Zakaria, 24, played the entire match when Borussia Mönchengladbach defeated Bayern Munich 5-0 in the German Cup on Wednesday night. The Gladbach midfielder’s contract with the club expires next summer and now German Bild reports that Arsenal have Zakaria on their wish list.

The London club can try with a bid already in the January window, but if it turns out to be too difficult, Arsenal want to sign a pre-contract with Zakaria which is valid from 1 July.

The Swiss national team player came to Mönchengladbach from Young Boys in the summer of 2017 and has scored eleven goals in 136 appearances since then.

Arsenal looking to strenghten their attack with forgotten Real Madrid striker

Arsenal want to intensify their attack in January. A hot alternative is said to be Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic. The Serb who joined the Spanish giant from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2019 has not been able find the form he had in the Bundesliga, and lately playing time has been tight.

Now the Spanish Defensa Central writes that Arsenal are interested in the Serb. They state that Arsenal have good hopes of getting a deal, as Jovic is not part of Ancelotti’s future plans.

The 23-year-old’s contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2025. Since his debut in 2019, there have been only 32 matches in the white jersey, and he has been noted for two goals.
