Arsenal interested in Denis Zakaria

Denis Zakaria, 24, played the entire match when Borussia Mönchengladbach defeated Bayern Munich 5-0 in the German Cup on Wednesday night. The Gladbach midfielder’s contract with the club expires next summer and now German Bild reports that Arsenal have Zakaria on their wish list.

The London club can try with a bid already in the January window, but if it turns out to be too difficult, Arsenal want to sign a pre-contract with Zakaria which is valid from 1 July.

The Swiss national team player came to Mönchengladbach from Young Boys in the summer of 2017 and has scored eleven goals in 136 appearances since then.

Daily Mirror: United gives up on Pogba

Paul Pogba has not yet signed an extension with Manchester United. His current contract expires next summer, and he can thus negotiate with clubs already this winter.

Now United are said to give up on the midfielder, according to the Daily Mirror. They have realized that Pogba will not extend. There will mainly be interest from PSG, Real Madrid and Juventus, but none of them are said to have plans to place a bid in January.

This means that, if everything turns out as it is now reported, the Frenchman will leave the club as a free agent next summer. Pogba joined United in 2016. Prior to that, he played for Juventus.

Newcastle eying one of Germanys greatest talents

Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, 18, is ranked as one of the greatest talents in Germany. The 18-year-old has impressed during the start of this season with six goals and six assists in eleven games, which has attracted interest from several big clubs around Europe.

Now the German newspaper Bild states that Newcastle is following the German midfielder. The English club has just got a new owner who can possibly strengthen significantly in January to save the club in the Premier League.

Wirtz currently has a contract with Bayer Leverkusen until the summer of 2026.

United linked with trio

Ole Gunnar Solskjær is under heavy pressure and is rumored to get the sack from Manchester United. At the same time as the management is considering a change of coach, the club has identified three potential signings.

Spanish Fichajes reports that United want to strengthen the squad for next year with winger Federico Chiesa, midfielder Nicolo Barella and right-back Kieran Trippier.

Both Chiesa and Barella are valued players in their current clubs, Juventus and Inter, respectively, and are likely to be difficult signings to take in port. However, Kieran Trippier is said to be willing to leave Atletico Madrid for a return to the Premier League.

Barcelona are dreaming of Klopp

Barcelona are looking for a replacement for Ronald Koeman, who is said to be hanging loose as coach of the club. Roberto Martinez and club legend Xavi Hernández have previously been mentioned as potential replacements for the Dutchman, but now there are reports that Barça have identified a dream coach.

It is Spanish Sport who writes that Koeman’s contract, which expires after the season, will not be extended. Barça president Joan Laporta’s big dream is now said to be to recruit Jürgen Klopp for next season.

According to reports, Barcelona are investigating the possibility of bringing in the Liverpool coach this summer. However, Klopp has a contract with Liverpool that extends over the 2024 season, and will not be open to leaving the Merseyside club at the moment.

Official: Liverpool signs contract with talent

Liverpool announced on Monday that the club have agreed with the talented goalkeeper Luke Hewitson, 17, on a professional contract. The 17-year-old came from Sunderland’s academy a little more than two years ago and possibly has a bright future ahead of him in Liverpool’s A-team. Hewitson has mainly played with Liverpool’s U16 and U17 teams in recent times

“Bidding war” expected to break out for the talents signature

It has previously been written that clubs such as Newcastle as well as the giants Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have been in contact with Porto winger Luis Diaz’s representatives. Now another team is said to have entered the race for the 24-year-old.

It is Goal who, with reference to the Italian Gazzetta dello Sport, writes that Chelsea have inquired about the status of the Colombian’s future. The site further writes that a “bidding war” is expected to break out next year, 2022.

Luis Diaz, whose contract with the Portuguese club extends until the end of June 2024, has this season scored a goal in three matches in the Champions League and four hits in five appearances in the league.

Pep Guardiola wants to reunite with Real Madrid midfielder

German national team midfielder Toni Kroos left Bayern Munich for Real Madrid in the summer of 2014 after being coached by Pep Guardiola for one season.

Now the Catalan newspaper El Nacional reports that Guardiola, now in Manchester City, wants to reunite with Kroos and recruit the German to the north-west of England.

Kroos, whose contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2023, however, wants to wait until January before making any decision about the future, according to El Nacional.

The 31-year-old has had a long and successful career with, among other things, four Champions League titles and five domestic league titles. The 2014 World Cup title is also on the merit list.

van de Beek has asked his agent for a move to Real Madrid

It’s no secret that Donny van de Beek is unhappy at Manchester United. It is therefore very likely that he will leave the English club this winter.

According to Defensa Central, the Dutchman is keeping a close eye on Real Madrid. The current midfield situation with the Spanish giant means that van de Beek sees a chance in the club. The site states that he has therefore asked his agent to try to get a move to Spain in January.

Playing at Real is said to be his dream move and a loan should also be an option to get the chance to show up at the club.

Manchester United and Liverpool in the hunt for Ajax-talent

Ryan Gravenberch, 19, is predicted a bright future and has already been linked with several big clubs such as Chelsea and Juventus. The 19-year-old has this year managed to play his way to a regular place in Ajax after making his debut at the club already in 2018.

Now the Daily Mirror reports that Manchester United and Liverpool will also start a campaign for the talent’s signature, and according to the information, it is the two English big clubs that are currently closest to recruiting the midfielder.
